A Course in Private Pilot Training is for those candidates interested in becoming a pilot who always wanted to fly an air plane, of his own or for hobby but possibly were unaware of the procedures knowing the Private Pilot Course.

Requirements & Eligibility

Age 16 years or above

Qualification 10+2 (Physics & Maths )or any equivalent degree

Class II & Class I Medical Certificate

DGCA 5 Papers or PPL Composite

Flying 40 Hours

Step 1 – Ground Training

This theoretical training takes 95 days followed by internal BWA examinations which will thoroughly prepare you to attempt for DGCA exams.

In case if students wish to take a refresher class, they will be given a chance to attend along with the next batch on availability of seats.

Step 2 – Student Pilot License

SPL is the very first license which can lead the candidate to achieve a Private Pilot License.

Step 3 – Flying Training (PPL)

  • The Candidate has to complete 40 Hours (Forty Hours) of flight time Single Engine aircraft for obtaining the Private Pilot’s License. This flight time includes:
  • 20 Hours Solo Flight Time (Preceding 12 Months)
  • 5 Hours Cross-Country Flight time (150nm with 2 Full Stop Landings at 2 Different Aerodromes)
